Resting Butterflies at the 2026 dEBra Care Conference

All of the Resting Butterflies board members recently returned home after attending the 2026 dEBra Care Conference in Los Angeles, California, where they gathered alongside members of the EB community from near and far.

For many, the conference was an opportunity to reconnect with people they have known for years, while also finally meeting people they had only known through social media. It was a special experience for everyone, but especially for their very own board member, Lizzie, who was finally able to meet the rest of the board in person after knowing them for so long.

The conference is more than just a place to gather. It is a time to come together, learn, grow, share experiences, and, most importantly, be present with one another. With life moving so quickly, these moments of connection are something truly worth cherishing.

Several Resting Butterflies board members also had the opportunity to participate in panels throughout the conference, sharing their personal experiences with EB and contributing to important conversations within the community. Their voices and experiences helped bring unique perspectives to the topics being discussed.

Of course, it wasn't all panels and learning! The board members also had a chance to let loose during karaoke night, taking the stage and showing off some of their best moves. And, of course, a few lucky conference attendees went home with some Resting Butterflies swag!

Being surrounded by so many members of the EB community was a powerful reminder of why Resting Butterflies exists in the first place. Connection, support, education, and community are at the heart of what they do.

Looking toward the future, Resting Butterflies hopes to continue making a positive impact within the EB community and become even more involved with dEBra and its events. They look forward to building new relationships, strengthening existing ones, and continuing to be a source of support for EB families.

The 2026 dEBra Care Conference may have come to an end, but the connections made, lessons learned, and memories created will continue long after everyone has returned home.
